A human and musical adventure

Guided by a constant desire for discovery and exploration, Roots4Clarinets, in its very constitution, is the bearer of diversity, both cultural and musical. Indeed, the group brings together musicians of various origins, with multiple and complementary trajectories.

All its members have cultivated and still cultivate, in their artistic and educational paths, an approach of research and creativity.  Roots4Clarinets in Latin America is first and foremost: a project of exchange, sharing and meetings. It is the first step in building strong links and a lasting and solid relationship with Latin America.

French music and creation

Music is placed at the heart of this adventure, as a universal means of communication, beyond borders and language barriers. It brings together, brings together and unites everyone, artists and the public.

The clarinet quartet is a young formation, endowed with a recent repertoire in touch with its time. We thus work in contact with composers in order to be as close as possible to their musical and artistic intentions. This contributes to a direct and lively transmission to the public. The program that we have developed for the quartet concerts reflects the diversity of styles, aesthetics and composers that we wish to promote.

What will the money collected be used for?

The money collected will partly finance the transport and accommodation of the musicians, who are entirely voluntary. This will allow all of the events on offer to be completely free and thus make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Since its creation, Roots4Clarinets has explored a broad musical horizon, mixing original works for this formation and arrangements. Their artistic standards and their desire for excellence are rewarded by obtaining the Grand Jury Prize at the International Competition for the Interpretation of Today's Music in Boulogne-Billancourt. They also won first prize at the national chamber music competition in Remiremont.
