Daisy Dugardin begins the clarinet in Autun with Christine Guepet. She obtained her clarinet prize in 2014 at the CRR de Chalon sur Saône with Nicolas Nageotte. Curious and always in search of new experiences, keen on pedagogy, she continued her studies at the Superior Academy of Music of Strasbourg - HEAR, in the class of Jean-Marc Foltz. She obtained in 2017 the National Superior Professional Diploma of Musician and the license of Musicology (Musical Composition and Interpretation), then the State Diploma of clarinet teacher in 2018. Passionate about new languages and work around the body, she works in close collaboration with composers and validates in June 2019 a Master of clarinet around contemporary creation.

In order to extend this work, she will invest in September 2019 the “Artist Diploma” course of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Lyon.

Daisy has collaborated with many orchestras and ensembles: the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the LINEA Ensemble, the LES SIECLES Orchestra, Hanatsu Miroir, Lemanic Modern Ensemble, Proxima Centauri ...

In order to implement her interest in music and contemporary creation, she created in 2016 with accordionist Marie Bonifait the ensemble ILO, one of the main objectives of which is to create contemporary pieces and to work with composers. In this context, the show “ANTHROPOIDES”, articulated around free improvisation, saw the light of day in 2018, in collaboration with the artist-painter Francis Faillenet.
